Cheryl Schirillo leads our Guided
Mindfulness/Meditation Session the 1st Tuesday of every
month in Unity's Sanctuary.
All are welcome at this gathering
including people new to working with the present moment
and experienced meditators from all backgrounds. Cheryl
has co-created this Guided Meditation Journey at the invitation
of her mother, Unity member, Elaine Bates, and Unity's
Spiritual Leader, Rev. Elizabeth Forrest.
There is no set cost for this gathering,
but heart donations are appropriate and appreciated and
are shared with Unity.
People start arriving at 11:45
am to enjoy relaxed, informal conversation. We begin promptly
at noon with music and gentle movement, then have a short
lesson in Mindfulness before moving into a 20 minute guided-meditation.
The Guided Mindfulness Journey ends a little before 1:00
You are invited to bring a bagged
lunch to enjoy it with the group at Unity's kitchen table
starting at 1:00 pm, but that part is optional and not
part of the guided meditation experience.
